DiversiLab DNA Fingerprinting Kits

The DiversiLab System has 35 Fingerprinting Kits, which cover the majority of routinely isolated organisms. Each kit is quality-controlled and optimized for precise genotyping results. The kits provide genotyping in an easy-to-use format that maintains a consistent procedure for each type of organism.

DiversiLab Chip and Reagents:

Following amplification with the Fingerprinting Kits, the resulting amplicon is detected using microfluidics LabChip technology. The LabChips allow for reproducible, consistent results that can be compared across experiments. Each chip runs 13 samples in less than one hour. The DiversiLab LabChip Kit includes the chips and reagents for 325 tests.

Mo Bio UltraClean™ Microbial DNA Isolation Kit:

Use of the UltraClean kit is recommended for extraction of microbial genomic DNA. This kit provides a standardized extraction procedure for all organisms including Mycobacterium and Fungi. The mechanical lysis and column-based method results in a clean DNA sample perfect for use in the DiversiLab System. These extraction kits come in 50- and 250- test sizes. Accessories to aid this extraction method are also available.

DiversiLab Gel Standards:

A normalized genomic DNA concentration is recommended for addition to the rep-PCR reaction. Bacterial Barcodes provides genomic DNA standards that can be run on a gel along with the test samples to ensure both DNA quantity and quality.
