miniVIDAS

For the detection of viable organisms through active air sampling, the light, portable air IDEAL uses standard prepared media, such as contact plates or 100mm plates. The five interchangeable heads allow for continuous sampling, and the user-friendly software is easy to program with minimal training. The air IDEAL can optimize plant operations through reduced unit cost and a lower cost per test.

Culture Media
bioMérieux INDUSTRY provides a wide range of culture media for your food testing needs. Ready-to-use enrichment media provide a complement to the VIDAS system pathogen screening. Now available, are the plastic 3L bags containing specific enrichment media.  A new line of chromogenic media plates can be used for the further identification of positive pathogen screening results.   A new CampyID agar provides the capabilities for the detection and enumeration of Campylobacter species. 

VITEK 2 Compact
The new VITEK 2 Compact puts the focus on comprehensive performance and cost savings. This new-generation VITEK features test cards with an expanded database offering high performing, rapid results for organism confirmation. Key bioterrorism organisms of interest are also included in the database. The VITEK 2 Compact also features an automated, simplified workflow that significantly increases laboratory efficiency and accuracy.

DiversiLab is an automated bacterial strain typing system, now part of bioMerieux’s range of products for food safety testing.  DiversiLab is  the only automated system of its kind that provides results within 4 hours.
