VIDAS^® ICS All Foods AOAC Approval

bioMérieux^® INDUSTRY is pleased to announce the AOAC OMA approval for the VIDAS Immunoconcentration Salmonella ICS assay for the screening detection of Salmonella in All Food groups.

The approval was granted as a modification to the method 2001.09 for the VIDAS ICS/VIDAS Salmonella (SLM).

In addition, approval was granted as a modification to the method 2001.07 for the VIDAS ICS plus Selective Plate Method (Hektoen Enteric, Bismuth Sulfite, Salmonella Identification – SMID) as well as a modification to the method 2001.08 for the VIDAS ICS plus Selective Plate Method (Hektoen Enteric, Bismuth Sulfite, Xylose Lysine Desoxycholate).

These approved methods offer variety and flexibility in both the daily and weekly laboratory testing routine. VIDAS ICS is the only Next Day™ Salmonella screen that is AOAC OMA approved for "All Foods".
