VIDAS^® LMO2 AOAC Approval

bioMérieux^® INDUSTRY is pleased to announce the AOAC OMA approval for the VIDAS second generation Listeria monocytogenes assay, LMO2 for the screening detection of L. monocytogenes in Select Food groups. The method approval number is 2004.02.

Currently underway is the AOAC OMA collaborative work for the VIDAS LIS assay using a harmonized enrichment protocol consistent with the enrichment protocol used for the LMO2 assay. This LIS method once approved will provide the option for using the VIDAS LIS and LMO2 assays from a single enriched sample for optimized laboratory workflow and efficiency.
