CampyFood Agar
CampyFood Agar is a selective medium for the isolation and enumeration of most Campylobacter species, notably C. jejuni and C. coli. These species are most often encountered in intestinal diseases caused by Campylobacter and are particularly prevalent in poultry.
The method for detecting Campylobacter has long been described in various standardized methods. The selective media recommended to isolate it are generally blood or charcoal based, making the results hard to read.
