For classic microbial detection of products with BacT/ALERT,

recommends the use of both iAST and iNST bottles. iAST presents
an enriched formulation designed to grow aerobic microorganisms
faster. iNST is used for the detection of anaerobic microorganisms.
bioMérieux recommends the use of both bottles for
testing of products. Our iAST and iNST have an industry-specific
label for better identification. They come with a complete
certificate of quality control.

Easy Identification: Color-coded labels and peel-off
bar codes simplify identification and data processing to reduce
errors and facilitate random loading and reloading.
Data Integrity: Since BacT/ALERT readings are not tied
to the original location of the bottle, there are no limitations
for returning bottles to the instrument. Upon reload, the operator
loads the bottle in any available cell and the readings continue
from where they left off. This ensures that data integrity is
maintained during usual (and unusual) laboratory protocols.
